Seawork are often instructed by Insurance Companies to salvage or remove vessels that sink on rivers and inland waterways.
A typical example is shown on the River Seven, where an award-winning narrowboat had sunk. The vessel sank some time prior to instruction the River Seven is famous for the ‘Seven Boar’, allowing her to fill with silt doubling the weight of the vessel.
