Seawork are one of a few Inland Inshore contractors that own and operate Decompression Chambers. We currently have four, one is a Containerised Twin Lock Chamber, two are Containerised Twin Lock Chamber with 3 Diver Panels and one is a Twin Lock Chamber with 2 Diver Panel.
This unit (Con 05) is the Containerised Chamber System consisting of Twin Lock Chamber with a 3 Diver Panel.
This system is housed in a 20 foot ISO Shipping Container has primary & backup lighting, heated and has penetrator plates for connection of air supplies and power.
The chamber is a 2 compartment (twin lock) unit with Medlock built to BS5500 and fully tested and approved by Lloyds Register who witness the 5 yearly hydro test regimes.
Audited to IMCA DO23 with full certification packages and equipped with First Aid kit, DMAC015 medical kit, Defib and an oxygen therapy kit.
Kept in meticulous condition, as you would expect from a Diving Chamber and HBOT
Unit, by our inhouse fully qualified Diving Technicians with decades of experience this unit is ready to be shipped to site at immediate notice
Inside the chamber its equipped with communications, hyperbaric fire extinguisher, BIBS, Lighting and fire-retardant bedding.
Externally there are Depth and Therapeutic gauges, viewports into both locks as well as oxygen monitoring with crystal clear communications. Primary and backup power supply that supports the equipment associated with the chamber within a secure safe environment.
The 2 Diver Dive Panel meets IMCA D023, ADC 05/95, HSE guidelines and is tested & certificated in accordance with IMCA D018 and provides each diver with 2 completely independent air supplies and each diver is fully independent of the other.
What makes this container dive system unique is that also housed within the container is Divers main air LP receiver, Divers Reserve air supply (reduced HP), Standby divers main air (reduced HP) and standby reserve (reduced HP) as well as 5-cylinder chamber reserve air bank and 425Ltr Chamber main air receiver. Built into the outside of the container is an oxygen bank piped to the chamber and reduced to supply the divers BIBS
All of the plumbing supplying the divers panel and chamber is rigidly plumbed and has charging manifolds and reducer panels for all services. There is rigid plumbing to the dive umbilical’s that are stored-on purpose designed horns on the inside of the container doors. Umbilical’s are 100mtr long, 4 part (air, depth, comms and video) for ultimate diver safety
The communications systems are superior quality units providing exceptional clarity and have full redundancy and a back-up power system in the event of failure. The video system is a HD unit that can record video and divers comms and the video can be overlaid with information relating to the dive. These video systems are used throughout all Seawork’s dive systems as the quality is outstanding even in poor water conditions.
This Containerised Dive System is equipped with 20 metre interconnecting deck hoses for both the main (LP) and the Secondary (HP) air to the chamber and LP deck hoses for the divers’ supply, an HP hose to charge all the HP supplies and a 20-metre power supply.
