Seawork were instructed by a refinery to attend site at short notice following an incident where a refuelling vessel lost control and hit a jetty that collapsed. The debris on the seabed was causing an obstruction to the berth that was in required to be in constant use by tankers .
A diving team and crane barge and support equipment and personnel were rapidly sourced
and dispatched to site. Over a 24 hour period the concrete jetty was recovered to allow the berth to reopen and the tankers to use the facility.
