Confined Space Operations: 19 Tonnes Cleared from a Major Culvert
Another challenging job completed by the Seawork Marine Services team.
We were recently contracted to support a valued client with a confined space operation within a major culvert, clearing accumulated debris and removing the trash screen to provide access to the pump chamber.
Working safely in a demanding environment, our highly trained and experienced technicians removed an impressive 19 tonnes of material, including:
- Silt
- Plastics and general waste
- Branches and vegetation
- Other accumulated debris
All material was safely brought to the surface and transported to an approved waste facility for disposal.
Confined space operations require careful planning, specialist skills and strict safety procedures. Our team has the experience and capability to undertake complex marine, underwater and confined space projects safely and efficiently.
