Seawork are often instructed by Insurance Companies or Harbour Authorities to salvage or remove vessels that sink.This example was purposely sunk by a refinery tug using its fire cannon as the vessel on fire was close to Esso Fawley Refinery with berthed tankers and BP Hamble oil storage Jetty.
As we are the OIMS approved diving and marine contractor for Exxon Mobil and approved by ABP for all their diving work Seawork were the natural choice.
Seawork were responsible for all elements of this work, Pollution control, Lift ashore, Method statements & risk assessments, Permissions, Lift Plans and Marine support.
